Drink LOTS of water
I can usually trick myself into eating less if, when experiencing a craving, I say, “I can have it if I drink 2 full glasses of ice water in 30 minutes.” Usually I don’t finish my water or am no longer hungry and forget about my craving.
Eat fiber gummies or multivitamin gummies instead of dessert

Use smaller plates
This is probably the most popular answer you will see, but it really does work! I have a bad habit of wanting to fill my plate. Using a smaller one really keeps me from piling on too many extra calories!

I am a habitual eater. My mouth and hands like to be busy, and eating takes care of both of those issues. Chewing gum can be a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth and cure boredom.

Sometimes I will be so, so hungry, but after going through the motions of cooking and getting everything ready, I won’t be that hungry anymore!
