Briskbars Vegan Energy Bars Review
At first bite, Briskbars chocolate and coconut flavor is very nice, reminiscent of eating a (very expensive) candy bar. However, being made of 70% dark chocolate and only 4g of sugar definitely give the bars a bitter aftertaste.
If you are used to eating sweets, you probably will not like this bitter aftertaste. I was not a fan.
I really liked that these bars are vegan, GMO-free, gluten-free, kosher, dairy-free, nut free, and low in sodium. I also liked that these bars do not have any preservatives, artificial ingredients, or obscure chemicals.
However, just because something is “good for you” doesn’t always mean it’s good.
Despite the claims to boost your energy, I never felt any different than I would from eating anything else. The fact that these bars are tiny and cost $2.50 each also did not put them in my “must buy” list of healthy snacks.
Overall, I would not purchase these bars or want to try them again. I would rather stick with a natural, budget-friendly healthy snack like fruit or nuts, and I’ll take my caffeine in coffee form!

Product Review: The look and feel of these bars really remind me of a brownie, so I though it was going to be super rich and chocolaty but I was actually completely surprised.
It has a bit of a chocolate bitter taste but the coconut shavings on top basically act like the sugar flavor.
At first it’s a real interesting taste but it really grows on you. I did notice that it has an after taste of pill power and I don’t know what in it would give it that interesting weired taste… But that didn’t stop me.
I also noticed that eating the whole bar was just not going to happen for me. The intensity of the bar is just way to strong for me and just having half of it I’m literally bouncing off of the wall.
So the company stating that it’s stronger than one espresso is completely true.
The following day I did try the bar as a pre workout to see how it would last and work and I highly recommend it for that more than anything.
