5 Ways to Accessorize your Workout Wardrobe
A good pair of socks
One thing I learned the hard way is, regular socks are not so good if you’re doing a lot of physical activity and sweating a lot. Try some that have fabric that keep your feet cool and dry!
Cordless headphones are your friend! Maybe I’m just extremely klutzy, but I have had more headphones jerked off of me during exercise than I would have liked. It’s very jarring and can totally mess up your workout!
A GOOD bra
I can’t stress this enough…if you’re bouncing at all, it’s IMPORTANT to get a GOOD sports bra! There are a lot of terrible ones (mono-boob, anyone?). It can be tricky…most of the ones I have found that will actually keep your girls in place also feel like they’re going to break your ribs.
Look for words like “high impact”, “flat seams”, “adjustable”, and “reduces bounce”. Even better, look for workout tanks with built-in bras and support.
A workout-friendly hairband
This may seem silly, but it can be an extreme hindrance to your workout to constantly be pushing hair out of your face, and it’s not super-attractive when you have “sweat bangs” sticking straight up on top of your head, and there are more than likely mirrors everywhere to remind you of how awesome you look. A sweat-resistant hairband with no slip grip is so helpful!
No-tie shoe laces
This one’s a no-brainer! No one wants to spend their entire workout tying her shoelaces!
