McDonald’s is famous for having unhealthy choices, and they’re often bait for being attacked for the fillers. And preservatives they put in their foods to keep costs down. But they are also one of the more accommodating restaurants when it comes to finding a healthier option. Did you know they even have a section on their website of foods under 400 calories?
They also have an excellent meal builder, and you can even sort for foods by calories, total fat, sodium content, protein, and more!

healthy foods to eat at various fast food and sit-down restaurants. Today I will be featuring Chick-Fil-A, the famous (and sometimes controversial) fast food chicken restaurant. Chick-Fil-A is known for its fried chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, but they actually have a lot of healthy options from which to choose! I will try to provide some variety instead of posting only salads…salads can be so tiresome!

I might even include some waffle fries. Check it out! eating healthy, but sometimes eating out is unavoidable. It may be a little more challenging to find healthy choices at Arby’s. But it can be done! Beware-the Market Fresh Sandwiches seem like a healthy choice, but they are not! At 800 calories for the roast turkey ranch and bacon sandwich, you’re better off splitting one with a friend. If you really have a craving. A good rule of thumb is to stick to any junior-sized sandwich and a side salad. .

Here are 5 healthy choices at Arby’s! healthy foods to eat at various fast food and sit-down restaurants. Today I will be featuring Wendy’s, the hamburger fast food chain. Wendy’s is actually where I had my first job, and where I started dating my first boyfriend, who is now my husband!
As much as we try to make healthy foods at home instead of eating out, sometimes it’s unavoidable.
Fortunately, Wendy’s has a lot of healthy options. The great thing about Wendy’s, though, is that you can eat healthy while staying on the Value Menu.
Wendy’s is also a great place to find healthy gluten-free options. And it’s pretty much the winner as far as healthy and low-calorie foods with variety and value. Check it out!

healthy foods to eat at various fast food and sit-down restaurants. Today I will be featuring Taco Bell, everyone’s favorite place to eat their “Fourth Meal”.
Eating at Taco Bell can be challenging because they have so many things covered with cheese and/or fried, but it is possible to get out of there eating something with at least some nutritional value, or at least lower in calories. Check it out!
food restaurant known for its piled-to-the-sky Thickburgers and 2000 calorie combos. Did you know there’s a whole other side of Hardee’s? . They actually have some of the tastier not-as-bad-for-you restaurant options. Another salad? No thank you! Sometimes you just want a burger!
Burger King, the fast food restaurant known for its flame-broiled hamburgers and “having it your way”.
Burger King has a lot of famously unhealthy options, like their onion rings and chicken fries, but they offer some not-so-horrible options as well. Jack-in-the-box is one of the few fast food restaurants that offers a veggie burger to vegetarians!
Good choices! I don’t eat at McD’s very often (once a quarter, maybe) .. I think the Egg McMuffin is still a good choice, but if I’m feeling naughty – I’ll get the fish sandwich (sans cheese) and then scrape off most of the sauce 😛
Monica.
I don’t think I have tried one of those fish sandwiches since I was a kid! Or ever. I don’t really know, but that is one not-so-healthy food item that does not tempt me whatsoever. Too bad every other food and alcoholic beverage in the world do tempt me! Hope you have a great weekend, Monica!
Thanks for posting, will take advantage of this
